I am absolutely delighted with the packs I have received. They are a perfect learning tool. They are so accessible, particularly to the non-specialist.The songs are instantly appealing, and the children eagerly learn the words and tune so quickly. I love the ideas for percussion, so easy and yet so effective. The CDs are great too for interesting the children instantly.

The music is written in such a teacher-friendly way that you don't have to be a concert pianist to play the tunes. The children loved the songs and we were able to learn them very quickly. The children loved singing the songs and it has definitely helped them to retain information about the topics. My only criticism is that there isn't a song pack for every topic that we teach! As your song packs are straightforward and easy to access (without lots of text for teachers to plough through), they are more often picked up and used by busy staff who haven't got time to wade through books! The CDs are perfect, as you don't need to be a pianist or read music to teach the children the songs.Gail Mason

I ordered the Vikings Song pack to supplement our previous resources. We were delighted to find that the songs fitted exactly with our lesson plans and could be sung in isolation or as part of an extended music lesson. We enjoyed the variety of key, tempo, mood and rhythm and found them straightforward to learn with the assistance of the well produced CD. We were also impressed at their accuracy in portraying the fearsome Viking race. The children enjoyed them so much that they even tried to make up their own verses to go alongside the original ones. When they are such good value for money, I cannot speak highly enough of them. They bring singing to life!

We have used your 'Sleeping Beauty 'pack, and also your songs about 'Vikings'. All feedback from staff has been extremely positive. As we do not have a music specialist in school, the CD format is welcomed by teachers as it is so easy to use. The children loved the songs, and they really captured the children's imagination. All the packs contain a good variety of catchy tunes covering different aspects, some unexpected, of a particular topic. The children quickly memorise the words and sing along enthusiastically with the CDs. The second part of the CD is especially useful as it provides an underlying framework for percussion work. Our much used collection of Notable Song Packs has proved a valuable and very worthwhile resource over the past few years. The teaching notes are particularly helpful for the non-specialist and offer sound advice for differentiation between key stages.
Notable Songs are easy to learn and the CD gives staff the option of selecting either vocal or instrumental accompaniment for performance. “Goldilocks” is very popular with our Nursery and Reception children. KS1 teachers draw on “Toys” and “Transport” to support their topics and KS2 teachers have commented on how the catchy tunes in “School” motivate the more reluctant singers!

The children love the tunes and the words are easily remembered. Parents have also commented on how their children continue to sing the songs at home without any prompting and they themselves become “hooked”.
