The Song Packs

Each song pack contains original songs written specifically for the chosen topic in response to needs indicated by classroom teachers. The songs are written as a single line melody with chord symbols above the melody line. There are teaching notes in each song pack with ideas for some simple percussion work which would enhance the performance of the songs but which is not essential in the learning of the song. There are also some ideas for actions and extension work where appropriate. The mini-musicals also contain narrations with some ideas for spoken parts if required. There is an indication of staging and helpful hints on how to get the most out of your production. Song samples from each of the CDs are available on the shopping pages.

The CDs

The CDs which accompany the song packs are intended to be of practical use. Firstly, on each CD the songs are sung by Donna Minto with a piano backing. Later on the CD each song is played on the piano with no singing - this can be used as a backing track either for practise or also for a performance if no musician is available.
